With the Six Nations rugby starting, here’s a quick rugby-themed post.
There’s a great book called LEGACY by James Kerr about the New Zealand All Blacks and what they can teach us about business.
The 15 chapters weaving sport, business, approach, environment and philosophy are all highly informative, but I think three are super relevant to managers today.
1 – Character: Never be too big to do the small things that need to be done.
6 – Whānau – No dickheads: No one is bigger than the team and one selfish mindset can infect a collective culture.
14 – Whakapapa – Plant trees you’ll never see: True leaders are stewards of the future.
